What way to kick off the 2025 wedding season! The first wedding of the year was such a special one to photograph and it was such an honor to witness Sara & Sam tie the knot this weekend at the Distillery!

This wedding was such a special one, outside of it being the first wedding of the year. I’ve known the bride, Sara, for over a decade from our days at App State! I photographed her and her friends while I was getting my degree in Commercial Photography, we served as leadership mentors together, photographed her best friend’s wedding after graduation and then my team photographed her brother’s wedding when I was maternity leave with Lucy! The picture of her with her 3 best friends from App is actually a recreation from a shoot we did together in Boone over 10 years ago! So it was such a full circle moment to get a chance to photograph Sara & Sam’s dream wedding at the Distillery this past weekend! It was so fun to reconnect with old friends and to make a new friend in Sam, who’s the perfect match for Sara! Chad’s team did an stunning job, as always, in giving the Adler’s the perfect wedding to start their lives together as husband and wife! Congratulations to the happy couple!
