It was a beautiful fall weekend in November and they came from all over the country to reunite in Asheville at a house at which they’d created many memories together. Family members reconnected after not seeing each other for some time. They talked, laughed, and cried together as they remembered the couple that had brought them together to this place for so many years.
This is my family, and last fall we all went up to Asheville for a mountain weekend together to scatter the ashes of my grandparents at their favorite place in the world. We had all created some incredible memories at that mountain house, and for that weekend we left our busy lives to come back to the mountains and honor the two that brought us together. I knew that I wanted to offer a few family portraits for the various families there, and God was totally on board because He gave us a stunning fall backdrop with beautiful leaves and gorgeous light. Who knows when all of us will be together again, so it’s good to cherish the memories created while remembering those we loved dearly. So here’s you, Grandmother & Granddaddy, for giving us lots of memories on the mountain and the most amazing family we could ever ask for.
Thank you all so much for giving me the chance to photograph y’all last fall. If you want to schedule your fall portrait session, please feel free to contact us here!
Until next time,
