It was the perfect November day as folks began to arrive at the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, SC, to witness the union of two sweet souls! Even though the air was cool on that fall day, their love warmed the hearts of all present as they tearfully said their vows in front of their favorite people. They both glowed throughout the day and I know that their hearts will be forever filled with the sweet memories of their special day.

We arrived at the hotel where the bridal party was getting ready, and the music, laughter, and champagne was free-flowing! Unlike some brides who tend to be so stressed on their wedding day, Sarah was calm and relaxed as she got the finishing touches done for her hair and makeup. We could tell from the start that it was going to be a fun day with a great crowd! Once at the venue, Sarah put her dress on with the help of her mom and bridesmaids. And standing there on that podium in front of all the mirrors with her wedding dress officially on, she became a bride on her wedding day. She stood calming as they fastened the last of the buttons on the dress and tears filled the eyes of those in the room. But Sarah cried her own tears once she saw her dad for their first look together. He held his baby girl on her wedding day knowing that he was about to give her away to her future husband. And that time had come as Sarah and her dad walked down the aisle towards Travis. And his face when he saw her was so bright with love, and Sarah was beaming with joy!! Their sweet and emotional ceremony was the perfect beginning to the lives together as they vowed to love each other and the Lord for the rest of their lives.

The reception to follow had great food, cake, music, and dancing as everyone celebrated Mr & Mrs. Gilbert! Everyone from the youngest children to the oldest family members made their way to the dance floor! The night ended with a perfect kiss in the sparkler exit to light their way into married life! The day was so perfect and surely one that they will never forget! Congratulations Sarah & Travis!!
