Guess what y’all…they’re finally married!! What started out as a middle school crush led them to this day, the BEST day, and now Maria & Zane are husband & wife!! It was the perfect fall wedding for these love birds and I’m so glad we were there to capture all of the wedding goodness!
It happens at every wedding…the moment before the bride gets into her dress. After months and maybe even years of wedding planning, it’s happening RIGHT NOW! There’s always that moment of slow realization. The morning is hectic and then you have to put on the dress. It’s starting. Here we go!
As we were walking to the bridal suite from where the girls were getting ready, Maria expressed this feeling. “Is this for real?! Is this happening?!” So when she was in her dress and ready for the day to begin with her first look with her dad, she just needed a moment. A moment by herself to truly feel the gravity of the moment and the day. It’s her wedding day. She was about to see her dad who would give her away to the love of her life. As she walked down the stairs to him and told him turn around, she became a puddle as most girls do with their dads. Just as she had reigned in her emotions, I told her it was time to do the same thing just with Zane. Her best friend. Her person. Her soon-to-be husband. Their first look with sweet and emotional, with laughs and tears. As was their ceremony where the officiant told the story of how they met in math class in the eight grade! Little did they know the journey that the Lord was preparing for them at that very moment.
Their wedding day was the perfect fall wedding and the most amazing start to the rest of their lives as Mr. & Mrs.Vermette!
