John & Lisa tied the knot this weekend at an elegant uptown wedding in the Bechtler Museum of Art surrounded by their favorite people! Their sweet Jewish wedding ceremony was followed by an outstanding party that had everyone dancing and the bride & groom in hoisted in the air! It was surely a night they’ll never forget. Congratulations to the happy couple!
So a little backstory about this latest #MMPCouple! John has actually known me my whole life, and he and my mom went to college together! Made up of Wake Forest grads and their partners & children, we make up the Wake Forest family. We’ve been gathering for Labor Day Weekend at my family’s cabin for the past 30 years or so and us kids are more like cousins to one another than acquaintances! So when John & Lisa asked if I could photograph their wedding, I was so honored to be a part of their big day! A second wedding for them both, they were determined to make it their own and to have the time of their lives and that they did!! They weren’t interest in any getting shots or detailed images, so we hit the ground running with their portraits so they could enjoy the evening after the ceremony. All in all, everything came together perfectly for the bride & groom and everyone seemed to have an absolute blast! We were thrilled to photograph the day for them and wish them all the happiness in the world!
