Haley & Isaiah are getting married!! These two met at me at Freedom Park one Thursday afternoon for the sweetest engagement session just weeks after getting engaged! You see, Haley had booked a couple’s session with me as a Valentine’s Day gift for her boyfriend. Little did she know that just two weeks prior to the shoot, he would propose to her in Time’s Square!!
I’ve known Haley’s family for what feels like my whole life. Our parents were involved in Mexico missions for years and that developed into each of us spending summers in Southern Mexico. We were enough years apart however that our paths never actually crossed! But the powers of social media kept us in the loop and I learned that Haley is also a photographer! So when she reached out to me to do a couple’s session with her and Isaiah, I was so excited and also a little nervous. Photographers know how nerve-wracking it is to shoot another photographer!
Oh but when I saw that they had gotten engaged just weeks before our shoot, I couldn’t believe how perfect the timing was! That newly-engaged bliss is something special, and she kept saying “we’re getting married!!” during the shoot! It was so sweet!
These two are clearly best friends and such a great match. He had her laughing the whole time, and they were both beaming with joy at the adventure that is ahead of them! What an honor it was to photograph them during this exciting time and I cannot wait for their Spring wedding in 2021!
