This spot. In just short six months, this is where these two will start their lives together as husband and wife. This is where she will walk down the aisle to her future husband, in front of all of their friends & family, and promise themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. Magical.

Last December we photographed Chelsea & Cody’s engagement session at a Christmas tree farm, and it was so beautiful with the reds and greens of the season. These two got posing down like crazy and I just loved shooting with them, so when Chelsea told me that she wanted to do another shoot at their wedding venue in the Spring, I was stoked!! We went from deep Christmas greens to bright Springy greens, and they both looks so good on this sweet couple. I’m a big believer in connecting with my couples, not just showing up to a few shoots and the wedding and being done with it. So this opportunity to get to know Chelsea & Cody even more during this shoot and to see where all the magic will soon happen was such a treat. I know I say this about every couple, but y’all these two are best friends. They’re so stinking cute together and you can tell how eager they are to finally be husband & wife. And we get to be there when it happens!!

We had to immense joy of exploring their AMAZING wedding venue, Red Barn Events in Waxhaw is stunning!! Rolling green fields, surrounded by tall trees, a lake in the background, and beautiful red barn. Did I mention they have a swing?! Not only am I over the moon to shoot this sweet wedding here, but I’m so ready to book way more shoots at this magical place. Plus is the light is on point y’all!
