Brittany & Jens exchanged vows at an intimate vineyard ceremony last Friday! Although these two had officially married last year, they still wanted to have a small celebration with family & friends! Jens is from Germany and Brittany’s family is Italian and German, so they loved the idea of tying the knot at the beautiful Raffaldini Vineyards!
When Brittany and I had her wedding consultation prior to booking, she explained to me that she and Jens were not “wedding people” and they just wanted something simple and nice with family! It was always supposed to be intimate! Fast-forward six months and the world is reeling from a pandemic that has upended everything, including the wedding industry! I know that they were thankful that their numbers were always going to be small, making it easier for them to proceed with their wedding day! But unfortunately their plans to visit Germany after their wedding and have a larger celebration there has now changed as Germany is not allowing Americans in the country. Jens is still planning on going to visit family and I know Brittany is anxious to visit soon as well.
Their wedding day was intimate and special, and uniquely them! Their first dance was so sweet and they teared up when the singer started singing the song in German. These two have the most amazing bond and one that comes from knowing that they’ve found their person. It was the greatest honor to photograph their big day and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!
