Brittany and Anhkhoa had the sweetest intimate ceremony with just immediate family on top of Howard’s Knob where they had their first date. It was so wonderfully and uniquely them. They didn’t care about an elaborate wedding and simply wanted to be married!

The day started bright & early as Brittany got ready with her family at her apartment, followed by the sweetest first look with her dad! From there we went to Durham Park at Appalachian State where the happy couple had their first look and they were so incredibly happy to see one another! We headed up to Howard’s Knob which overlooks the town of Boone, but the morning clouds were still hanging low and blocked much of the view. That didn’t stop them from having the sweetest mountaintop ceremony. Their moms cried as they vowed forever to each other and they were glowing with joy! They’re fans of the show Stranger Things so they decided to try a New Coke during the ceremony!

Once they were husband & wife, they read personal vows to each other at the overlook where they had their first date. They both laughed and cried, and they were so clearly overwhelmed with love for one another. They rejoined their families for portraits and their families celebrated their new love in the sweetest embraces. It was moments like those that make me so thankful for my job and that I can be there to capture the most emotional moments of a wedding day!

It was an amazing day and the perfect way to start the rest of their lives together!! Congratulations Brittany & Anhkhoa!
