Allie & John love the lake, so they were dying to do their engagement session on Lake Norman! These two laughed their way through the shoot and it was so easy to photograph their joy! I can’t wait for their wedding this October!

I’m sure you can’t tell, but when we arrived at Ramsey Creek Park on a Saturday in June, it was PACKED!! Thankfully we were able to find nuggets of good light without people in the background. They were such troopers and their sweet dog Marlo was just along for the ride!! Allie & John are high school sweethearts and are finally tying the knot this October! They are so sweet together and you can tell that their best friends, they laughed the whole time!!

I think my favorite part of the shoot was the last 10 minutes or so when Allie wanted to have a little water fight when the shoot was ending. She splashed John with a little water, and he took a HUGE splash of water and threw it on her!! These two know how to have fun, and I cannot wait for their fall wedding!
