Even photographers need to get in front of the camera every now and then! David & I did our first couple shoot with my friend Heather, and man what a time it was! It was so different being in front of the camera for a change, but I love the images we got from this shoot! Sometimes it’s good to relinquish control and allow someone else to take the reins to capture you!

As the one always taking pictures, it’s nice and different to be on the other side of the camera for a change! Last semester I took my friend Heather’s senior portraits, and we decided to trade each other shoots for payment! She did a couple portrait session with me and my sweetie, David! We’ve been together for 5 years and this was our first shoot together! How could I have waited that long to get some nice pictures of us?! Anyway, it was such a fun shoot and I’m thrilled with the images we got! We wandered around uptown Charlotte (so halk taking pictures and half exploring my new home) stopped every time we found cool and new places to shoot. She was able to capture the goofy, fun, and loving relationship we have, and it was a great way to start off year 5 together! Now time to print and hang them up in my new apartment!
