Beth & Dylan had the sweetest backyard wedding this past Saturday after covid changed their original wedding plans, but it was still so special and they made it their own! From family heirlooms and the most darling details, to baby giggles and time spent with family & friends, Beth & Dylan created the best day to celebrate their marriage!

These two became parents to the most darling little girl, Mary Grace, who steals the hearts of everyone she meets! During the ceremony, Mary Grace stayed in her momma’s arms while her daddy shared with the guests attending in person and via livesteam that exactly a year ago this day, he and Beth officially tied the knot! Nobody but their parents knew of the surprise and it was the biggest shock! And on their first anniversary they renewed their vows, blessed their heirloom rings, and celebrated with those they loved most!

Since they had family & friends from all over to join in the merriment, they scheduled Mary Grace’s christening for the following day! So we just had to get some adorable portraits of her in her christening gown that was made by Beth’s grandmother for her and her siblings to wear, and now it’s passed down to be worn by the next generation! That wasn’t the only sentimental piece that Beth included in the day! She wrapped her late father’s handkerchief around her bouquet to keep him close. She wore the earrings her father gave to her mother the day Beth was born, and her mom gifted her a beautiful gold bracelet for her wedding day! The champagne flutes and cake stand were family heirlooms, and Beth’s center diamond in her ring was passed down through the Sugar family and she’s the 4th generation to wear it! Dylan’s wedding band was also passed down from the 1800s and was his great grandfather’s ring. I just loved all the details they so meticulously included to pay homage to those that came before them and paved the way for their marriage!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs.Sugar on one year of marriage and a lifetime to go!
