Ashley & Ryan officially tied the knot this past weekend at a beautiful winter wedding at Sweet Magnolia Estates! They got engaged this summer and were so ready to be husband & wife that they planned their wedding in just 4 months!! And goodness did they not plan the most beautiful day imaginable! No amount of snow or rain or cold could keep the joy from these two as they said their vows under twinkly lights and stars. This wedding sure was one for the ages and was the perfect start to the life of Mr. & Mrs. Peters!

I first met Ashley & Ryan at brewery in Plaza Midwood where we chatted about the wedding they were planning and the journey that had brought them there. They told me all about how they met and started dating, and from there it was history. They were so clear that their love was something that God had designed for them and they just could not wait one more day to be married! Ashley even bought her dress just a few days after getting engaged! We joked that in North Carolina it’d probably be 65 degrees on their wedding day, and it just so happens that the first early snow of the year happened to fall right on their wedding day!! But still, God had a plan, and 30 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, the sun started to shine onto the ceremony space. I was in awe as I was outside photographing details and I saw the orange trees light up with the sun setting and shining right onto the place that they would soon become husband & wife. I rushed back inside to tell Ashley and already having seen it, she had tears of thankfulness in her eyes. So they adorned their guests with blankets and provided lots of hot chocolate as Ashley & Ryan began their lives together as one on that cold Saturday evening in December. It was so beautifully pure and their happiness was so contagious throughout the whole day! Into the party they went as they shared special dances, loved ones said sweet words of encouragement, and the dance party began! And man was it a party!! Everyone danced into the night with such excitement for the union of the newlyweds and they sent them off into their new life together with sparklers and lots of hooping and hollering! It was a magical day for a magical couple, and I wish them all the very best in their new adventure as husband & wife!
