Pull up a chair and stay a while, won't you?

i'm maggie

Six years of love brought Anne and Aaron to this day. Six years of praying that this day would happen, that the Lord would pave the way for their forever to begin. Six years brought them to the moment when those church doors opened and Anne walked with her father down the aisle to marry the love of her life. After all that time, they finally became one on that beautiful Saturday in December at a small Presbyterian church in downtown Statesville.

If you’ve ever met Anne & Aaron, you know how incredible and wonderful they are as people and their loving hearts to serve the people around them. But put these precious souls together, and you have the most amazing couple you’ve ever met! The strength with which they love each other and those around them literally stops you in your tracks, because you see right there in front of you, such a pure definition of love. These two tied the knot this past weekend at a candlelit ceremony at First Presbyterian Church in Statesville, NC. The pews were filled with people who had traveled from all over just to see the sweetest of unions and to celebrate their love. Music played as the bridal party made their way to the altar, and then doors opened and Anne stepped out, a vision in white. She took a deep breath as she walked towards the man that was waiting there to marry her. Aaron was in awe of the woman that would soon become his wife. They sang How Great Thou Art with the congregation in worship to the God that joined them and led them to that moment. With joyful hearts, they vowed to love each other for the rest of their days.

They made their way to the reception, held at Grace Weddings & Events, where 200+ guests had filled the tables and were anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mr. & Mrs. Galliher! And what an entrance these two made, dancing and laughing their way into their wedding reception with everyone clapping and cheering for them! They mingled and ate and caught up with old friends, but they were so ready to get the party started! And oh my goodness, the party they had was unforgettable! Everyone was dancing and at one point Anne brought out neon wigs from her bachelorette party and people have rudolph noses! Despite the sweat and sore feet, everyone stayed on the dance floor until it was time to send these two off into a sparkling night, but not before they stole away one more dance by themselves as they prepared to enter into married life together.

This wedding was magical, emotional, and the perfect way to begin their journey into marriage together.
